The water was 77 degrees off the pier today also. Insane. Not a lot of bait around though.

I fished Mission Bay last week and it was 78 degrees by noon. I was marking fish early, but once the temperature started to climb it was like the Sahara Desert out there, no fish anywhere.
I'm not sure that the bass like the water when it's that warm and go and hide out in places where there's more shade?

78 is insane! I can't ever remember a time when our local waters have been that warm.
