Alternatives to the buff

I own a pair of buffs and they do work great, but recently my neck has been reacting to it. I'm sure it's the material. Does anyone use a different type face and neck shield that is breathable and light weight? Thanks!

What brand buff do you use? I have one made by Pelagic and one by BuffUSA and they're much different in material and construction. The BuffUSA buff seems to be the far better product of the two.

I recently got a couple of the SA (salt armour) buffs and I like them much better than the original buff. They seem a lot more breathable and cooler.

I'm also starting to really like the HUK line of wear, their long sleeve raglan shirt feels a ton cooler than the other pelagic long sleeve shirt I have. Haven't tried their buff but I'm sure it's excellent.

I JUST bought 5 masks from here:

http://www.sateam.company/

so far I used it once and it was fine. I definitely AVOIDED the sunburn to my face which I normally get. there is a code that I used to get 5 masks for 15! not sure if it works still. PM me if you might want the code.

Try the Simms, I like it much better than the original buffs.

I have the original buff. It works pretty well, but it doesn't seem to breathe as well on those hot days.

Salt Armour

I have TWO Salt Armour buffs and they are great. They breathe great and protect even better.

I bought a new version of the Buff, its called the Buff UVX it has a flared bottom that tucks inside the collar of your shirt, kind of like a turtle neck dickie. It seems much more breathable than my old style , which is just a strait tube, this one fits well and keeps the sun off my face and neck very well.
