I'm looking to head out somewhere on Wednesday. I'm thinking LJ, but I could be down for DP.

You guys should come up to NP. I caught my limit on rockies and caught a large sheepshead and ling cod on the drop. I had a double dropper loop, ling was short shepshead was a beast.

I fished headlands this morning, nothing but a shark bite. Plenty of greenbacks and Spanish north of there. Water was 63+ Couple Whales passed through.

Just head out to 180 -200 and start looking for rock piles. If the current is strong use a 10-12 oz sinker. If you use anything lighter the line will drift passed the small rock piles. At Newport its all about finding the rocks and dropping on them. If you off by a couple of feet all you will not get bite. Here is a pic from last Sunday. |
