Let's get a scoop of bait and drift the bottom. I'm just getting my ff on Saturday, so I don't think I'll have it installed by Sunday so I didn't want to try for rockfish. Unless you got a good ff, I might get some squid or something

I have been itching to get back out on the water and was thinking about hitting up Newport this Sunday. What time will you all be out there?

I'll probably go to the coast guard station, unless it's before 6. I like being able to rinse down the yak right away. Less stuff to clean when I get home!

Last time, most of us were there by 6, on the water by 0630-0645.

I text you Mike. For anyone else who wants to join Sunday and doesn't know the launch spots, here you go. CGS in red, kids beach in blue. Don't go to the coast guard station before 6 since people have gotten tickets lately. Kids beach, you just park in the residential neighborhood, anywhere there isn't red on the curb, obviously.
