8/18 Cabrillo
Corey drove up and we fished the Baytubers annual tournament. 100 people entered, $1000 for the biggest fish. Lots of halibuts at the weigh in. biggest was (I think 18 pounds?) and won from a float tube. Most fish were caught inside the harbor, but there were some caught outside as well. Man was it hot on the water. Fun event, won a rod in the raffle, good eats and lots of familiar faces. I only had one halibut on and lost it. Corey had some shorts. My first time fishing Cabrillo, always fun fishing a new spot.

Cool seeing you and Corey out there! Those guys always have fun tourneys. It was my first time fishing local waters in a few months after suffering from transient arthritis. Did'nt place, but I got an 8 1/2 pounder for dinner on the plastic.

Nicely done Charles. Good to see everyone at Cabrillo. Wow, lots of nice butts caught. Some with triples. I lost one too when my trap didn't reach the butt lip, pornstar herringlol was too large!
