Hoop net advice
I was looking into buying a few nets and cages. I just moved to san diego from colorado. I like to build things and be outside. I want to get into catching lobster as I truly enjoy eating them also truly love kayaking.
I am intimidated by buying new gear as I dont know what I am buying as far as hoop nets or bait cages. I want to know what is a good hoop net, cage and some basics on getting started. Any advice would be appreciated. |

Promar rigid hoops have worked very well for me.

I'd go with collapsible nets with bait suspenders. Less soaking time = more pulls and less time waisted in unproductive areas. You just have to make sure you are puling straight up, which is what you should be doing anyways.
