San O Yel O

Got out Sunday with dreams of offshore adventure, after a quick stop at my lucky spot. Well, decided to stay a while longer after catching this one.

That was my only fish for the day, but it gave me the SoCal slam for the location this year and I will take it (or leave it?)

You must be of the fish gods sir, well done.

What did you fool him with?

Nice tail Greg, so now you use your foot to keep the rod off the rail? Neat trick. And great C&R bonus points.

Is the a good launch point for San o? Plan on going there next week since its about 50 miles closer than LA Jolla and no reserve zone.

Surf launch and landing 100% of the time. The only place you are allowed to launch a kayak is not on your picture. 2.5 mile paddle to the zone. (minimum)
