Lost my hobie pedal

Last saturday around 1:30 in the afternoon while i was coming into the surf, i silly , sizable wave hit me and i wiped out in waist deep of water. It happened in LJ cove just right in front of the launch area for kayaks/boats.

Unfortunately, I lost my hobie pedal on just waist deep of water. Whats so unlucky and so bizarre is i retrieve almost all my gear- from rods, water bottles to my gaff and net. Most of my gear was tied down but i guess the line attached to the hobie pedal was snapped from the kayak.

So there, I lost my hobie pedal with about 2-3 yards of line still attached to it on waist-deep water. I asked the guys who do the kayak lessons and also the lifeguards to keep an eye out in case it eventually gets washed onto the shore.

If anyone manages to stumble unto a hobie pedal on LJ shore, kindly msg me here or leave with the LJ lifeguards. I'll try to drop by this week to check if I have some luck with it.

Thanks guys.

I'm getting a little old and sometimes a little slow on the up take but for the life of me I can't see how the original post was the least bit controversial. Can someone enlighten me?
