Fished with Ron my first time fishing the area paddled out to the jetty on the north side of the channel with the wind blowing us parallel to the jetty which drops 10 to 15 feet I was casting up to the exposed rocks and slowly bouncing the bait down the rocks (love fishing deep jetty s. Threw every color I had and not hardly a bite Ron got a small sand bass. The sun was going down and the bites picked up, Switched to the 4 inch New Penny Z Man paddlz tail and started to pick some small fish ended up with 5 sand bass and 2 spottties the biggest was 8 inches. It was getting dark and we moved to the north side and I got the bite of bites and even with the drag buttoned down it made it back into its hole and broke me off so I called it a day. Looking forward to trying it again. The bait that worked for me was the Z Man paddle tail with Uni Butter.
