LJ Sat and maybe sunday

Ill be Doing an LJ trip this weekend. It will be my first time in LJ. Wouldnt mind being shown the ropes. sand color Hobie outback and a silver Liberty texas plates

This actually happens to be the first weekend I will not be going to LJ in the last month or so, as my kids want to hit the lake with me. I've had a lot of baraccuda on the line lately out there so if you want to avoid them slow your retrieve down as they like chasing the fast movers. They are fun to catch though. I haven't had much luck with yellowtail or WSB, just a good amount of large calicos. I like using Owner Sled Head 1/2oz hooks with the pearl colored Berkley Jerk Shad 7". Last weekend it took a lot more effort to get baitfish to bite the sabiki, so if you buy some squid and tip the sabiki hooks you would probably work well for you. Good luck out there.

I fish LJ for the first time yesterday and it was sloow! Had a hard time finding greenbacks. Lots of spanish around. Talked to a few guy back on shore an it was the same for everyone nothing was biting

Im just looking to catch Fish. Dont get me wrong I want keepers, but just to be out is going to be fun. Its been a year since Ive been fishing...
