Another Launch Update 4/11
Another update from the City of San Diego
-The Avenida De La Playa Infrastructure Project is requiring a change in the design. The prefabricated culvert boxes will need to be lowered by 10 inches to provide the street section with adequate flow. -The City has directed the contractor, HPS Mechanical, to work from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday to get the schedule with the redesign back on track. HPS has backfilled the hole at the end of RCB boxes and installed an additional dewatering well. -On Saturday, April 12 the contractor will dig out and haul off the slurry on each side of the boxes installed to date. A 550-ton crane will be brought in on Tuesday, April 15 to set up on Camino Del Oro to expedite the removal of the boxes, and later, the resetting of the culvert boxes. -La Jolla Half Marathon will be rerouted on April 27th from the boardwalk to Vallecitos, to Avenida De La Ribera and to Paseo Dorado. |
