The fish/biologists that advise the SD Oceans group predicted more WSB would be caught in June than in May this year, that's why the change from last year. I'm signed up and looking to beat my 5th place last year.

"Currently there are 41 FREEDIVERS registered and only 19 ANGLERS! Because the minimum participation has not been met in the "ANGLING" Category, 36 anglers must register in two days otherwise the top three cash prizes will be significantly reduced. So, pass along this information to your fishing partner and encourage them to register! (the prizes in the "FREEDIVING" Category will not be affected)."

Sorry... I'm already in too many tourneys this year. Plan on being in Moyer's, already in WCW, also doing the YT shootout on the 16th (non kayak) as well as the BWE tourney. Too bad though, the cause is outstanding.

Com'on Brinkman it's $30 and you get a tour of the hatchery and a BBQ lunch. If you are fishing at all in June, you got a shot..........me, I won't likely be able to fish

I can't figure out how come this event is not getting some more robust support from the fishing community...
With all the proceeds going for an awesome cause very much in our best interest, backing of United Anglers, awesome organization by Oceans Foundation, all that... I'm hoping it is just that people are waiting for the last day. It was the same deal least year. I just entered today. I think we, the People That Paddle (OK, and the ones that peddle ), we got to support this... We got to show the boaters who owns WSB... Look at these dawgs from last year - recognize them?

I'm in. I hope they get the participation they hope for. Let's go guys. No one can catch wsb like a kayaker (except those spearo's, and they got their own catagory).

Last chance to register. Any word yet on if they got the number of entrants they were looking for? It all starts tomorrow. Will the winning fish be caught on the first day again?
