Linglifter said Dana pt. so I looked around and found the A.C.E. wreck "Now buoyed about five miles south of the Dana Point Harbor", within reach of kayaks. I thought that was what he was referring to.
Interesting because it's an Everingham Bait Co. bait boat that sunk in 2005 while heading back to Dana Point Harbor with a full load of anchovies and macs. The wreck holds tons of bass and sculpin now. It's cool that a boat that brought bait to help us catch fish might still help catch fish now as an artificial reef. http://www.cadivingnews.com/article/...est-Dive-Site# Check out the fish in the video

I did a couple scuba dives at the 2 wrecks out of mission bay. Lots of smaller sized calicos, a few good sized sand bass patroling the sand around the wrecks and a few cabezon tight on the wreck. Good luck

I'm hoping we can find some holes along the way. I hear there's one out there in front of the rollercoaster.

Were gonna fish the holes on the way out and on the way in and see what it produces. I'm running low on halibut.

Good luck out there just watch the boat traffic it's been kind of nuts lately. Not sure how the bait in the barge has been, but it's better than nothing. We haven't gotten much other fin bait around the area lately. Pack some frozen squid just in case?
