Awesome video! I had a similar story today, minus the aerial acrobatics, hit the surface iron, estimated 50-60 lbs, released

Awesome video, Chris, from my angle it looked like one more jump and it would have hit you in the chest, your eyes looked big as saucers

congrats Will, you kept a cool head through it all.

Thanks to Chris for shooting the video and Andy for being there and talking me thru it the whole time.

I recall that it shot across Chris's bow and almost took him out. Then it jumped completely out of the water, flying through the air, like the pectoral fins were wings. Then it wacked both Andy and I with its tail. It was pretty scarey because I didnt know if it would jump in our laps.

The Mini X was completely stable throughout.

I felt pretty calm while fighting it but afterrwards i got this shakey adrenalin rush.

Later i felt a little depressed--thats the biggest fish of my life--why couldnt it have been a spottie !

Awesome footage Chris. Nice catch Will.

Threshers sure lead to lots of exciting moments.

Good & funny video guys. Trev's was fun too. It was pretty green and about jerked me out of the boat when I grabbed it. Then It showed Trev the same disservice when he unhooked & released it.
Congrats Will & Trev for your 1st T encounters.
