That's a really cool way of storing bikes. Might take some fabrication work to make a it able to balance a kayak. Although if you got two of them (one on each end of the yak) then it'd be pretty easy... just hook it to the front and back handles?

Or I guess just one of the 9' ones would work running parallel above your car. Cool idea man.

It would be great if there was a high enough ceiling in the garage. Then just matter of lifting it off of the car and back.

looks like a bit more work to make it work for a kayak and remote wire is short.. Will go check it out..
have high enough garage to drive car in with kayak on top so no issue there since garage has space for 3 cars.. Quote:
