go pro

i dropped my go pro right on the lens . small nick or scratch on it . can it be polished out ? if so what do i use ? headlight restoration kit work ? can it be done professionally and would it be worth it ? or do i just replace lens ? has anyone done this and how much are we talking about ?

I just had an issue with mine not working and they sent me a replacement. I know a broken lens is a different story but it's always worth giving them a call and asking. Trying to polish that out the way it is now would be a PITA!

It looks like the little lens is removable.

if its just the lens your safe and its cheap. I went on amazon a got a 3 pair kit lens change for $15.00 it comes with 3 lens 3 seals and brand replacement screws.

I was thinking when I get a new pair placing clear coat paint or maybe clear nail polish
