Don't know how many of you ever shop sport authority for gear but found a 25 % off 1 item coupon on slickdeals.net http://slickdeals.net/?pno=9282&lno=1&afsrc=1 |

The link forwards to their homepage.
Where is the slick deal? Maybe it slipped away.
Thanks, James

It's on the slickdeals.net website - look at Thursday and the "printable coupon" link. It should pop up. Read the fine print, though, if you're looking to get Shimano or Penn fishing gear - doesn't apply - along with a bunch of other exclusions.

The online code is APRILFF25.
Looks like SOME cashiers are not honoring the printed coupon.

To contribute another actual experience, I just went to the store in Escondido today (Friday) with this coupon, and bought three items thinking that they would only discount the highest priced item
(as it states on the coupon). But they gave me the 25% discount on all three items that I bought. And the person who rang me up at the checkout had the "Manager on Duty" badge on his vest. I didn't count his "pieces of flare". ;-) I don't know if it matters, but I printed my coupon on a color printer so that it had red lettering with a black UPC code. And I trimmed it at the dotted lines FWIW. I used a similar coupon at Sports Authority about a year ago, and was able to use it for a Shimano reel even though the coupon excludes Shimano items. Just give it a shot. Mark |

Hubz - never crossed my mind that the kid behind the counter wouldn't read the coupon. I'm hittin' up the Esco SA today.
-what was the name of that cashier ...

Didn't catch his name. He was an older guy, way overweight. Looked like a manager. He actually had a badge that said Manager on Duty.
