Newport Harbor 3-24

Last Sunday, 9am till 3pm. Launched from Coast Guard Dock Beach. Weather was sunny and warm with light breeze. Fished the end of the outbound tide and the start of the inbound tide. Picked up two little calicos (no pics) and two short hali's in bass alley (main channel coast guard dock side, heading south of the beach along the eel grass) in about 15 feet of water using 3-4" orange curly-tail grubs and 1/4 - 3/8 oz lead head.
Last couple hours fished the docks on the other side of the main channel between the break wall and the fuel dock in about 20 feet of water and picked up these tiny sandies. The really little guy was crapping his pants when he came up, as you will see in the pic. Overall, a good time on the water as always!
