tangles & triumph 43lb ONO

Well, Saturday I woke up with a slight cloudy head do to the camping activities from the night before. I got my stuff ready and hit the water around 0640. I was all over the place and no bait. Finally, around 0900 I found some opelu, got one and rigged it. Time went by and I found another pile and only managed one more opelu. A little while after, I get a hit on the first opelu while I was bottom fishing. ZZZZ, ZZZZZ, but no stick. I take my other pole and rig the other opelu for the bottom (rocket rig). I send it down and am sitting for about 30 seconds before my reel goes ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ. I cant get the pole out of the holder. I am thinking Ulua, since I was bottom fishing. The thing is, the current was pushing me so my bait was higher off the bottom than normal. The Ono went this way and that way. I had so many tangles with my other pole and gear on the kayak trying to get the Kage and things going, it was a mess. At the end I was the victor and scored a personnel best ONO. While cleaning the ono I found the first opelu in its belly.
Enjoy the video

Thanks for the video. Last time I was in Hawaii I wasted my time catching peacock bass. Should have got out on the big water. The Go-Pro on the Kage is a nice touch.
