The million dollar question. There are so many things to consider when choosing the right kayak. Peddle, paddle, wide, narrow, long, short. What you choose will be based on what you plan on using it for. Revo's are great for speed and going long distances but not as stable as a outback or PA. Revo's also have less storage space than the outback or PA. Are you going to hoopnet? That's another thing to consider.

The guy in the youtube video is in a outback which I would pick over a Revo because you get more room and more stable but like said before the outback is not as fast as the Revo.

On that note, the fastest kayak is one that you don't tip over or fall off of.

Faster kayak = less energy expended getting to where you need to go. I fish with guys who have all the different Hobies. A Revo takes 1 1/2 kicks to keep pace with one kick of my adventure and a PA 12 takes 2 kicks. That adds up at the end of the day.
