F'n Weathermen

Had no plans to fish today since all the weather forecasts were for strong winds and early rain. So, when I woke up to calm wind and bluebird skies I was a bit miffed. Dropped the kids off at school and made the call to try and get a few hours in at DP. Met Mark and Karen from Hook1 around 9:00 and headed out. The winds had picked up by now so we decided to work the harbor. Good call as we picked up some fish here and there. I ended the day with this gal. She taped out at 33" and and estimated 12 to 15 pounds.

Back out again tomorrow.

Wow!

Dave , If you ever decide to run a flattie clinic, sign me up! I've always appreciated your ability with halibut, but this winter I think you've really moved up to a new level! Great job! Jerry/Piranha

OK Mark

That was a good one-
Looks like the Childrens Beach area on the North end of Dana Harbor.
Very easy to launch there and a nice paddle out to the ocean.
I had heard a couple of flatties were caught in the harbor this week.
Nice fishie
Dave

Nice Dave, but you are slipping. I only see 1 fish this time instead of a daily double lol.

We just don't keep them all. The difference between LJ and Dana is if we kept all the legal ones, first there would be no big ones and then there would be no small ones. We just don't have that awesome deep canyon that LJ has. Man I wish we did.
