To hole or not to hole..
Any of you had problems with this, have you need to be more careful with your kayak after installing the kit?. |

There are several guys that have made holes in both new and older kayaks, to my knowledge none of those kayaks are sitting at the bottom of the ocean. When/if you decide to go forward I would go with 3M 5200 or something similar, Marine Goop is good but 3M 5200 is much better.

The first thing I did with my PrAngler 14 was drill a 2" hole in the bottom to install a flush-mount transponder. Never gave it a second thought, and it has never leaked a drop.

I did it to my Revo before it ever hit the water...
3M is the shizzle... has never ever leaked a drop
