new kayaker

Hey everybody just bought a used tarpon 140 from oex mission bay. Got fish finder, and bait tank installed. Really wanted to take it out today but decided against it because it was late in the day and raining. How is fishing and paddling around SD bay during storms? Would it be smart to take it to the bay tomorrow? Or should I just wait it out? Can't wait to get some fishing in and make some new kayak fishing buddies.

If you really have to go out tomorrow. Watch the weather. Not so much the rain, but for fog and low visibility. Might wait for Sunday and I would go out of tidelands for my first time. A little less boat traffic and usually good bass fishing. Good luck and welcome to the addiction.
