Theives....Really?!?

I had my Adventure locked up on the trailer and somebody helped themselves to my rudder..........I am dumb founded. This has to be somebody with a Hobie, not some crack head. What really pisses me off is they cut all 4 lines..........so I have to reroute new lines before putting on a new rudder. You saved $60, thank you DOUCHE!

Sorry to hear that Andy. You're a nice guy always doing things for strangers. It's sad to say but everyone needs to be extra wary during the holidays.

Weak! That is so low! Time for some cctv cameras to get all angles on these weenies. First the Tiki, now this? You might have all the parts you need on my old A in the bottom of your rack?

I hope Karma justice is served

Friggin sleezeball. Unfortunately, I don't see it getting any better for quite a while which really sucks.

Dang sorry to hear that !
My wifes purse was stolen the day after thanksgiving.
we went inside my parents house for less then 10 min .
we were carrying lots of things she ran outside as soon as she remembered
but it was too late... they got her phone, credit cards and dependent ID.

Im trying to jump through hoops to get her a new one . we found out on thanksgiving that she is pregnant and now she cant see her doctor without that ID... Im here in San DIego trying to jump through hoops to get her a new one as fast as possible .

I see your always helping people here on the forum and getting them good deals. If you have Paypal Ill send you $35 to offset a little of what that guy cost you.. just pm me your paypal address and Ill send it to ya.

Oscar thanks! I did pull a rudder assembly off of a warranty boat, so it really only cost me my time and a few yards of spetcra control line.

I refuse to believe a kayaker did this, so it must have been a tweeker that had some crazy idea of mounting the rudder on his BMX bike to make it faster!

Bummer Iceman. Sorry to hear it.

Adventures aren't all that common. I'd suggest we start our Bigwater's Edge Neighborhood Watch!

A little, "Hey buddy, nice rudder. Come here often?" might nab a shifty angler.

Arggh matey.

Still, keep an eye out.

WTF...don't worry Andy, for everything you've done for this kayak community, that phookhead won't be so lucky to get off with a little bad juju, it's gonna hit him like a constipated elephant's first shit in months landing on a fly...
