Anyone got a Yak they would let someone borrow?

Got an old Friend coming into town next weekend who has never fished from a yak, he is really wanting to try it out and since I sold my Tarpon and don't have a spare I am reaching out to see if I could borrow a loaner for him to use.

I will supply him with the rods,a PFD and the gear (and a paddle if needed).

There's no need for anything extra (Fish finder , bait tank etc) since he will be buddy'iing up with me in my PA.

Just a bare bones yak with a rod holder or two (or maybe even a back rest is all he needs for a day of fishing at LJ.

If anyone has a useable yak gathering dust in the garage and would be willing to lend it to a guy that would respect it (and cover any damage that might happen) for a day and perhaps come Fishing with us too . I'll buy the Beer

Just Shoot me a PM and we can work something out.

Thanks

Aaron

Reasonable rentals, OEX Sunset Beach

If you can't find a loaner. Try a rental from OEX Sunset Beach.

When and where do you plan on going out. I have a Prowler 13 that I would be willing to lend out. Maybe I could meet you there.

MVC; That sounds Great! We were thinking Saturday the 21st or Sunday the 22nd would be the day.

Not too early since he is a newb. I think launching in the dark might not be a great idea for someone going out for the 1st time so it'll be early enough to find parking but also early enough to maybe catch the Bite.. Just at sunrise.

Let me know what you'd like for lunch and what kind of Barley / Hops you like

I'll shoot you a PM with my number

Thank you for the offer

Aaron
