Not so much yakin in Mammoth
Kendall pulls her PB for the Sierras in the first hour of the trip This is the Upper Owens, all of the following were caught and alot released, in one "honey hole", my wife took us to...I was using a Panther Martin in white, on 4lb. following the current around this small overhang, Kendall just pulled one after another...got an action shot... Yuckky fish blood... Did I mention she brought her pet Blonde "Boo-Boo" bear...GDF bears! Idnty cute... Oh yeah, I got my Eastern Sierra PB too... 4.5 lbs wieghed at the camp ground in front of the crowd I farmed one for Kendall, we didn't bring a net to this spot, I handed the line and lost a big un... The wind picked up the next two days, a fire closed 395 both ways on Saturday night, kept alot of pressure on the good spots, but we had a great time....

Britt, I do believe this is the first post you started? Wow, nice one, too!
Nice fish, bet those were tasty. Looks like you and Kendall had a good dinner that night. Kinda looks like the hot creek near Convict Lake? |

Great trip with lots of nice fish caught. Those trout were big. That pic of the yak on the lake looks cool, like that boulder could just fall on you.
