2.5 San Martin Island, mothership trip!! ....October 26-29

Okay guys, sorry for the delay. I've been busy and getting a hold of Captain Jody to iron out details has been difficult with him on the water so often. These are the details of my 2.5 day mothership trip aboard the Voyager out of Seaforth Landing, San Diego to San Martin Island. We will load up October 26th before 4:00 and we will return Monday morning around 8:00 am the 29th. Day one fishing will be spent at San Martin Island. If you haven't fished the island, it's Calico heaven and the yellow bit is crazy!! This is a good time for you to catch the trophy fish of a lifetime. This will be a full day fishing at the island. Day two will be spent at Pescadoro Bay where we will be fishing for Calicos, Yellowtail and Halibut. This is another paradise that is rarely fished. Price of the trip is $395 per person. Price includes, fuel surcharge, food, bunk, everything except permits. Mexican visa and Mexican fishing license will be paid at Seaforth landing. There will be giveaways from my various sponsors, Bass Pro Shop, Berkley, etc. For further details, visit my website at http://rockitcharters.tumblr.com

There will only be 15 guys on this trip. First come, first serve policy, $125 deposit, non-refundable, secures your spot. Checks can be sent to me personally or trips can be paid in full on my website. Feel free to contact me 951-496-9181, or PM me with any questions. This is a trip of a life time at a price that can't be beat!!! Departure time can change depending on weather and fishing, But I will keep all posted who go on this trip.

Thanks for all of the questions and the interest in the kayak trip. I spoke with Captain Jody this morning in regards to your pro-angler questions. He will contact John from the Islander and see how he operates. I will have an answer for you soon, I hope. Keep in mind this is a smaller boat an Jody is fabricating his rack next week with the help of John. There will be a zodiac on the water to assist us. As of today there are nine spots left. Any questions, please call me direct or send me an email. Phone calls are more desirable. Keep in mind, this is a fishing trip, not a cruise. Thanks guys.

Sorry its taking so long, with the voyager out on trips so much, answers are hard to come by. You can call the captain direct. Jody Morgan 858 220-1593. I'll do the best I can guys.

PA's on the Voyager

I understand the weight and storage issues of the PA's. To minimize possible injury to crew members while launching and retrieving PA's; a sling could be fabricated out of 1/2" rope and use of a davit hoist would eliminate back injuries. I recently purchased a hoist used by deer hunters for dressing out their game. It slides into the 2" towing receiver and extends above my camper shell. I use it to puit my PA on my kayak rack on top of the camper shell. Pivots 360 degrees and good for 300 lbs. Cost $100.00 from Sportsman's Guide. Did not mean to hijack the thread. bosco

Hey guys, due to the fact that Paypal is killing me with fee's if you gonna pay on paypal their will be a $15 fee. You can send me a check or do a personal payment on paypal for $395.00 . We can always do the old school thing cash in hand. Anything to get away from the fee's. I'm not making a dime off this trip so I hope you understand, I even have to pay. If you have any questions PM me. I just updated the site. For those of you that already paid online you get a free be.Thanks again.

Hopefully I hear back soon, I have no problem with them. But it is a smaller boat. Believe me the sooner I fill the trip the more sleep I get!
