Dana Report

I had a chance to fish on Saturday 4/28 from 12p-5p and Weds 5/02 from 5a-11a.

Fished the capo beach area on both days. Sat was the better day sunny and more fish activity.

The weather yesterday, pretty calm with light wind and drizzly.

The water is getting a bit warmer, seeing more surfers "trunking" it, that's a good sign. If my temp gauge is correct, water was between 60-62 degrees.

In total for the two days, 3 juvie WSB similar in size to the pick snapped yesterday. 1- 21 inch halibut (damn!) All released.

I'm still in training working my way into the big leagues.

Thanks for the report. Good to hear that the water temp is finally picking up. I'm sure you will be in the "big league" soon with a big hali or wsb just around the bend. I'm going to give DP a try manana- but it looks like I might need windshield wipers on my glasses to see through the heavy drizzle!

ya its has been real wet in the AM here...yesterday we had a consistent drizzle, even what i would refer to as rain, on and off till about 11. Today is looking to be about the same. Can see the sprinkles coming down outside my house right now

Just glad he wasnt having to yank it out from deep. Be a bummer to see you end up like this guy.
