REI Dividend

Just used my 13.00 dividend to purchase this watch for what seemed like a smoking deal with free shipping. Has anyone seen or used this watch? Seemed kinda cool with lunar and tide phases....two of three reviews looked pretty weak but for 32 dollars I will check it out

I did the same with my dividend, I got the watch last week. The watch is a little bulky but overall seems nice.

I went through the manual and did not see Cabo, it actually only listed about 125 locations total.

One odd feature of the watch is it has a battery save mode in which it turns itself off after 5-6 hours. Just push a button and it comes right back on.

"Thank you for taking the time to contact REI and providing us the opportunity to respond. REI has not endorsed the MLPA and does not take public positions on matters of public policy or state/federal legislation without a thorough review from our Government Affairs department.

Our focus is on encouraging participation in the human-powered outdoor activities that we provide products for. While our members and customers use our gear for a variety of activities, our roots and expertise are in the areas of hiking, backpacking, bicycling, skiing, snowshoeing, paddling and climbing. Just because they don't blantly say they support the MLPA doesn't mean they don't. The job of their public affairs department is to sugarcoat their stand and attempt to ramain nuetral in the public eye so their business isn't affected.

In fact, a fellow forum member discovered REI contributed substantially to the organizations against "us."

Same situation with Stones Brewery.
