Anyone do reel repair?

Anyone service/repair reels? I've got a calcutta 250 that needs a complete overhaul. I would send it to shimano but they are super backed up and I cant wait a month to get my reel back.

Shimano doesn't service the Calcutta 250 anymore. They just sent mine back to me unrepaired.

I have a daiwa GrandwaveZ40 that i can't cast because it has a spot where it drags a little in freespool. Great reel and for the price I got it at would be worth fixing for sure!

So hit me up too

The 250 has a slightly different configuration than the 400s.

X2. Here's the Calcutta 250 schematic. http://fish.shimano.com/media/fishin...9830641849.pdf

Just use Alan Tani's directions with this schematic and you should be fine. All the basic steps are the same.
