Shelter Island Check in is above the beach, the launching from that beach to the right of the boat launch and BBQ and awards are on the lawn to the left of the launch.

Couple of newbie questions ....
Is a bucket with a bubble box sufficient enough to keep the bass healthy enough to make it to a weigh boat? How many weigh boats and how spread out are they? I plan to release most of the bass but is it cool (or uncool) to keep a couple for dinner? How many anglers usually do this event? I know I don't really have a shot at winning, but I think it would be fun and I would easily learn $25 worth of information plus contacts. |
