whales in la jolla

back a month or so ago I was out fishing with my friend steve. The whales were hanging out in LJ.

I threw my life jacket on tied down my poles and got some great pictures.

They were feeding so you werent really sure where they were going to pop up.

I think these are my best pictures of the summer.

Great Pics, It always freaks me out when you launch before dawn and hear the whales coming up for air. You can't see them but they seem like right next to you.

Dana Wharf sportfishing has been reporting numerous whale sightings up there. Up to 400 now.

Those are great shots you got.

very nice pics, as I have been up close and personal with them this year myself, I can appreciate those pics, a beautiful sight, gets the old adrenaline going doesn't it....thanks for sharing

When I had my boat I would see them at Catalina or just outside Long Beach and I manage to come close to them but not that close. COOL PICS!!!
