I like rangers and krocidiles for roosters in the surf. But live bait is prime. Caught a few jacks the other day on pin fish as bait.

Yes we ate it... we know the manager of the food services at the Riu Palace / Santa Fe (the resort we stay at when we are in Cabo) and he always makes us up something good! But honestly, I think the smaller ones taste better.
