Did you use all thread thru the abs? i made something similar for a friends canoe, but used aluminum tubing for the axles, and hitch pins to hold the wheels in place. nice build.

They are just a hallow 8" wheel that was over produced for a cooler sales company I found. Last edited by Hotrodtuna; 06-30-2011 at 08:07 PM. |

Doesn't 4 wheels make it harder to turn? Why didn't you just use 2 wheels, that will leave enough room to drop in a 5 gallon bait bucket too.

looks like it would be fun to put a motor on and remote control that thing down the beach.

5 gal fits right between the wheels! Turns very easy and I can opt to ride it down a grassy hill if the fishing is slow. :-)

nice job, looks clean, I would try it down the hill....lol
actually now that I look at it, that would be sweet for the surf fishing trips, just invert the rod holders, great idea |

P.S. The rod holders work either way, you just have to face the reel out bound and the axle flips real fast. Last edited by Hotrodtuna; 07-01-2011 at 03:00 PM. |
