im in valley and been out once or twice at malibu. not sure exactly sure how to read reports either. what i can tell you is that when it crashes it is hard , fast and abrupt . also when sun sets santa ana winds can kick up 20-30 miles an hour. big sea bass pulled out of there though. as far as launching, if its not flat 1 -2 ft, not ideal situation. are you near valley? let me know . i am always looking someone to fish with.

Saturday starts with 2-1/2 and drops to 2 at 9am with 12 to 13 second intervals, wind works up to 9mph by noon; overall a great day
Sunday's report calls for 2-1/2 all day running the same intervals, wind up to 10 mph by noon, another good day. Good luck out there! |

Hey Sasha,
I went out today at esco and the surf wasn't too bad. A couple bigger sets but just be patient and you'll make it out dry. Keep in mind there will be a very low tide early, which makes the waves at esco a bit trickier to read. I'd join you but I've got a day full of chores tomorrow. Good luck. |
