LJ SHORES RIGHT PLACE RIGHT TIME SAT JULY 1ST

Launched about 5:30am to great weather conditions , however swell was a bit large. Went to pier for plenty of greenbacks and spanish. Loaded up to the max, and headed out. Got to the spot that looked good to me, about 107 feet, soaked two macs and sat back and waited. About ten minutes later a boil starts happening right around me. Short line goes off, loads up and fish on! About 10 seconds later long line goes and fish on, tighten drag and now i got my hands full. I get first fish in kayak and proceed to work on second hook-up as a was tossing spanish into water to keep fish around. Finally get this guy in, and re-bait. both fish in the 12 pound range. Paddle to the birds now working the area and get single hook-up with rod in hand. Another 12 pounder, re-bait and paddle around and get another. Four yellows in my kayak is all i can haul. Tody was a perfect day for any fisherman, everything was just right-on. Sorry no pictures i was busy fishing!
