Yes it is a good deal. Basically you get free rental rod and license... If you have those already the deal isn't so great, it is basically a regualar price.

Davey's Locker is a great company. I never go on a trip without confirming the details with the landing first. I would call them and double check your information. If it's right on, go for it, but I would double check.

Be careful about a "good deal"

There is a lot of negative about the deals out of Davys. Me personally I go out of Pier Point In LB or LB marina sport fishing.

$34 for a 3/4 day boat is still a pretty good deal.

i just bought 2....as far as im concerned if they put me in an area with fish, i dont need much more from the deckies. as long as theirs bait in the wells im pretty self sufficient onboard.

Looks like they have tried to right the wrongs of the past based on that first link Bus posted. Ill give em a shot.

im not sure exactly what your reading but its clearly not regular price...If you have gear its 34 instead of 69. not quite regular price.

Don't send him on his own, make it a family outing! More fun that way.

Hopefully u will take monies for full fare if this "deal" doesn't pan out. A deal like this could cost u more than normal fare in the end. There a catch somewhere. Than again Jimmy got the word.

If you dont go, wait for the boat to leave with all that are going aboard.
