Good luck Andy, that noise you hear in the back ground is all the LJ yakers cheering the fact that there will be a lot more fish for us in LJ.

Sunset Beach Move

I'm confused (that's normal)! Will you be taking over the Malibu Kayak store in Sunset (AKA? "Hooked on Kayaks") or is this a different location?

Good luck Andy. The Fishcatcher and I will miss you off LJ, but sure do hope you will be on the water with camera ready when he lands his first WSB (or bigger grade YT)

Next time I'm up there I'll make sure and stop by....

I agree with all, can't think of a better person to run the store.

Welcome to the neighborhood. I live just 5 minutes south of you off PCH in HB. Will stop by to make you feel at home .

Sunset Beach is sweet, Taco Surf, Peter's Landing, Harbour House, aweseome surf fishing at Anderson Street. Surfside Colony, Huntington Harbour all sandwiched in between Seal Beach/Long Beach and Huntington Beach/Newport Beach makes one tasty location!

All the best with your new business venture Andy!!! Match made in Heaven.

OC/LA folks, don't be surprised if LJ YTs move up North after him.

I sure hope so! I was gonna say "I hope he likes halibut fishing!", but with his experience, I'm sure he'll find an L.A. yellow on the yak before I do!

Congratulations.....I'm in Nevada City working on two restuarants that I chef/consultated on and opened the last two years so I share your excitement....I know it'll be successful. We gotta get you down to south kelp this summer.
Good luck.

Does this mean you'll be changing the name to Plasticman? Like you haven't heard that one already. Good luck with the new venture Andy!

Congratulation on the new venture. I'm up there quite often for work, so I am sure I'll see you in the store.

Break a leg,

Thanks ALL,

Things are going very well. Finally got DSL, so I am back to the land of the vicariously living. You guys sure catch some big fish down there....Dan
I can't wait to fish up here, before work will be awesome once the dust settles. We are putting in some long hours trying to get everything in order. Every day this store gets a little cooler. I feel truly lucky to be doing this. I'll post some before and after pix of the store when I get the chance. I am going south after work next Tuesday and am planning on having the wife and kids come up the following weekend.

Andy
