What did you get?

With Christmas having passed I'm sure we're all eager to get out on the water to test out the new toys we got. Did any of you get fishing stuff from Santa?

I traded a mt bike for an outback. The gift was convincing the guy it was an even trade. I'll likely be selling my other yak soon.

Bought myself 3 Diawa Sealine reels for $45.

Saw a Craigslist ad for a bucket full of Diawa Sealine reels and I took home three of them. I had another one that I bought earlier for $10 so the four pictured below will be my set.

Now the fun part. I have to tear them all apart and recondition them.

Two reels on the left are Diawa Sealine 30H and two on the right are Diawa Sealine 50H. Just looking for the rods now. I did have access to my parents old jigmasters, but I used the 50h in the past and loved it. Can't beleive that I picked up 4 solid reels that need to be cleaned and greased for $55 bucks.

Wifey and I have an "agreement", no big gifts between us. Starbucks/Jamba cards for her, big box of Bazooka Bubble Gum/Sees Peanut Brittle for me and that's it. Been like that for a few years (she took all my stuff back to exchange anyways). GoPro 3 Silver in a bag! Bam!

I got a new Lowrance Elite 5. Went out to Dana Point this morning to try it out. It works a lot better than my old M68c and a lot easier to read too.

And that new FF apparently shows you exactly where them fish are. Nice upgrade.

I got a go pro that doesn't work. BNIB, won't power on. Been reading and trouble shooting for several hours over two days. A real bummer. Been on hold w/ go pro for 40 minutes. Still on hold as I write, but now first in queue.

The only person I trust to buy me anything fishing is my wife. She knows what to get me because I always send her my BPS wish lists, and if she doesn't want to do that she'll get me a gift certificate for where ever I want to go. So that being said she really hooked me up.
She got me a Casting Rod and Reel Combo that I have been looking at, a Shimano level wind star drag reel that I wanted, and a mountain bike. The Mountain Bike was not anything I was expecting, but I love it. I was very blessed this Christmas and am very pleased with everything I go. Can't wait to try out the fishing gear. Oh and I got $50 to go buy my vitals container for my bait tank.

My girlfriend gave me my gift last week. A nice foam mattress pad for our bed. It's really nice and comfortable but when she gave it to me she said it was the perfect gift because we can share it.
On Christmas day I gave her a new Ugly Stick surf rod. I told her that it's the perfect gift because we can share it.
I don't think she will try to pull that crap on me again!
