April is sold out, waiting list available, 7 weeks away, may have something open up. July has only 4 spots left. Other trips have plenty of spots open.

These trips really scare me. You're miles away from the nearest convenience store. What happens if they run out of barley pops? Do they stock enough frosty malt beverages on board? I'd sure hate to have to stir up a mutiny!

I'm on the april & july trips. I too hope they go. Last year the Islander cancelled the dates i reserved, and the Erik, well we all know happened there. God rest their souls.

Capt Rick came by yesterday and we discussed Pro Anglers...........he wants one he said if he was going to fish in a "kayak" that would be the one.

He also says we can have 2 Pro Anglers per trip, so first come first serve! We will be utilizing the hoist on board that is used to load and unload the RIB/chase skiff.

Cool on the PA's. When you say first come first serve, how does that work? Do you grab the PA spot when making reservations?

And speaking of reservations, which trip are still available? I think I signed up for one but did not get a deposit in yet, did I do that?

Yes, you would have to specify when you make a reservation to secure 1 of the 2 spots allocated for Pro Anglers. If you have made a reservation, I would have taken cc $50 deposit. Call me if you think you have done otherwise. 562-592-0800

April 21,22 SOLD OUT stand by available
May 12,13 10 spots open
June 9,10 6 spots open
July 21,22 SOLD OUT stand by available
August 18,19 9 spots open
Sept 15,16 7 spots open
October......I may book one

Myself or another OEX Pro Staff member will be on every trip to assist you on the water.

So, are you going to hold the can or pull the tab?

If the weather cooperates we will be fishing San Nic on day 1 and Santa Barbara on day 2........unless something pops elsewhere.

halibut, lings, sheephead, shallow rockfish, whitefish and bass are the expected target species, plastics, iron and dropper loop fishing.

Freedom fished San Nic on Easter. At the very least we will have killer resident fish. 10 days, hopefully water temps climb.
