i have the same tank and had also purchased the newer one.
i still prefer the older model. i like the feel of the plastic covers that they use on the battery storage cover. it is more rigid unlike the newer one which seems more flimsy.
who ever buys this is still getting a great deal. also the 6amh battery is sufficient for a day on the water.
also if you want to upgrade to a 10amh battery you still can, but the cover sits a little higher that's about it.
