dana point

went hooping for the first time out of dana point. launched around 5pm and holy crap! as i turned the bend out of the harbor, there must have been hundreds of lobster buoys everywhere. all the way out towards the headlands past the boilers. there's this beautiful eeriness about kayaking in darkness..

long story short, got skunked.. but luv'n it!

Dont feel bad, it took us about 115 pulled nets to get 8 keepers off my buddies boat the other day at Dana Point. Keep at it!
