Anyone have a G'Zone Commando phone?

Anyone have a G'zone Commando phone?

I have had the G'zone phones for about 5 years now.I am on my second which is still a flip phone.Recently they came out with a G'zone that is a smart phone, basically a waterproof droid.Just curious if anyone has one and if you like it.

I was thinking about getting one but the reviews I read said that it got poor reception. Does anyone have any experience with that? My contract is up soon and I'm trying to decide what new phone to get and that is one of the ones I'm considering.

I have one and really like it. It's pretty heavy so you know its there, that is for sure.
I don't know if its a smart phone. You can't get the web like some others do. you only get mobile web. I climb trees for a living and I distroy phones, but not this one. You can take pictures underwater, thats cool(not to deep) Battery lasts for ever and I think it gets great reception. I also have a few hundred songs on it and bluetooth stereo headphones. Music sounds good Other then it being so big and bulky, and heavy its a great phone.

Well I got one.I have never owned a smartphone so it is a little much for me right now.I like it.It has an insanely loud ring, good on the jobsite and is loud when I play pandora(love the Johnny Cash channel).I had to be able to correspond Emails from the field now that I have my own business and that works great.I havent dunked it but have gotten it wet.It takes great pics and now I dont have to worry about having a drybox for the camera it will just be in my pfd or wader pocket. The tide app is bitchin'.Get out and fish the bay, there is a good tide swing today.

ericko showed us his and i was really impressed. it is running off of android platform. i look at it as a rugged, waterproof smartphone that can do everything that other one can. i would be interested to see if t-mobile carried one.......
