I really need your advice/opinion *UPDATE*

*Sorry I could not edit the first post*

I am going to get a new kayak.
It turns out that Hobie did do the repair and decided at that time that it was good enough and decided not to replace the hull. I still don’t really know what they did exactly or what caused it but I can see part of the repair or fill or whatever it is under the drive mount. It was still a repair.

I went over there to talk to the dealer today after work and ask for a new kayak. After some discussion they got on the phone and called Hobie and really went to bat for the replacement and they deserve all of the credit for making this happen

Thanks again for all the input. See you in La Jolla

Sounds like this post may have had something to do with the new one. But the way you handled it was all class!
