Well unfortunately a large chunk of the primitive camp area stretch is slotted for an MLPA reserve, which is ridiculous given that is where the CAMP SPOTS ARE! So yes there may be NO FISHING THERE, you may want to donate if you are planning on an annual pass

i have been waiting for a 50% off Groupon deal out of MDR, they ran one about this time last Spring and already ran one out of Newport.
