My first reel(s) overhaul....

went flawlessly thanks to Alan Tani's tutorial..His thread located here: http://alantani.com/index.php?topic=42.0 made it a no-brainer.
I'll also confirm what many have already said: "The Daiwa Sealine's are super easy to work on." I've never done this before on any reel and was able to clean, oil, grease and throw all new bearings, o-rings and drags in two reels in about an hour. I'M PUMPED!

I think you were the one that originally linked me to that Alan Tani thread. There's no way I would have done it without that tutorial...Heck, I've thought about crackin into a conventional for many years and never got balls to do it...until now...haha

Good job, what oil / grease / bearings / drags did you end up using?

Hey Swank..I think you helped me in that thread too..Thanks again!
Went with the new Daiwa bearings, smooth drag carbontex drags, cals for the washers, reel x for the bearings and for grease I used some mobil 1 synthetic marine grease that I use on my boat and dirt bikes.
