Newport Bay 11-11-10

Had fun today my 2nd trip on my new Trident 15 , Launched at 6:20 to not bad conditions , caught 2 10 to 12" Spotties near the Coast Guard docks then the WIND really let loose made it real hard to fish as soon as you cast you would have to paddle.

Well after seeing white caps in the Bay i decided to call it a early day and paddled back to the launch site still made 3.7 mph into the wind without that much effort !! love how this yak paddles.

Water temp in the Bay was 59.6 Last Thurs at Mission Bay it was 65.7 Quite a difference.
