White sharks in La Jolla: almost as rare as native Ssn Diegans in San Diego.

The great whites arent going to hurt you. Unless your kayak is red and it says tarpon 160i on the side.

Two great white sharks hear a pedal kayaker at La Jolla.

"Follow me, son," the father shark said to the son shark and they swam towards the noise.

"First we swim around it a few times with just the tip of our fins showing."

And they did.

"Well done, son! Now we swim around it a few times with all of our fins showing."

And they did.

"Now we eat the soft chewy part on top."

And they did.

When they were both gorged, the son asked, "Dad, why didn't we just eat it when we first saw it? Why did we swim around and around it?"

His wise father replied, "Because they taste better without the shit inside!"

My son and I fished La Jolla on Friday and we pass a small boat with 2 divers inside. I asked them if they had seen anything and they told us that they saw about an 8 foot Great White.

When a spearo posts a "shark sighting" its a pretty good indication that the fish are in!
