I'll be camped just to the right of the kayak launch (if you are looking at the ocean), in front of the La Jolla Shores Hotel. Give me a call when you are close and I can meet you with your stuff right at the kayak launch, or if that is not convenient I can walk over towards the restrooms to meet you. I'll try to be there by 10 am, and will probably hang out with the family @ the beach til 2 or 3. I'll shoot PM's to those that are coming down, just to confirm. Thx, Steve 626-665-4657 |

Charged up my scanner and was able to pick up a transmission from the radio - but it was only across the living, but I'm sure it is fine at a further distance. Found the manual, thanks to the Internets. I read on-line that the squelch knob can seize up with the volume knob - common occurrence. Thanks for the deal. |
