Sterling,
While you were fighting your fish, early on, we encountered those yellows just alittle beyond you close to the kelp. We were supposed to be fishing for bait. But, me and my daughter's boyfriend were doing the Wa-To-See Two Step much to the delight of the surrounding Foamers. I've learned that I haven't the stomach to be a Guide. There aint enough Greek Euros in Germany to pay me to do that again... No wonder Josh has so many grey hairs. |

Early in my LJ kayak career I would go to effort of taking a buddy. Using all my equipment I'd load pack it all and pick them up. Then drop them off and unload and clean it all up. Needless to say I don't do that anymore. They just slow you down way too much. I think if you guys did hook up there we were in about 80 or less feet and kelp was everywhere. It may have been a kelp job if you'd hooked up, possibly a la Leo and steal one out. I got to get out more and get back on the scoreboard, it has been way too long.
